Since 1917, the Sanfourche family vineyard, now led by Jean-Louis Sanfourche, has spanned 30 hectares on the right bank of the Garonne.

Passionate about the vine for four generations, the family cultivates it with respect for the environment, enthusiasm, and high standards, to offer wines that reflect the full soul of the Bordeaux terroir.



Awarded with several Gold Medals, notably at the Gilbert & Gaillard International Competition and the Lyon International Competition, the estate’s wines embody the excellence and expertise of a lineage of winemakers dedicated to quality and tradition.

Produced from a gravelly clay-limestone terroir and vines aged 25 to 30 years, the Château Haut Maurin Bordeaux Supérieur expresses the full richness of Merlot and Petit Verdot.

Aged in stainless steel and concrete tanks according to family tradition, this wine captivates with its deep red color with violet highlights and its fruity nose, enhanced by a subtle minty touch.

On the palate, it reveals a full-bodied structure, firm yet harmonious tannins, and a persistent finish, true to the elegance of great Bordeaux wines.
