The Vines and Terroir

(In the Heart of Bordeaux 1917)

Since 1917, our estate has covered 30 hectares on the right bank of the Garonne, in the heart of a gravelly clay-limestone terroir known for the quality of Bordeaux wines.

Benefiting from a temperate climate with an oceanic influence, our vines enjoy ideal conditions for the gradual and balanced ripening of the grapes.

The terroir

• Our gravelly clay-limestone soils form the foundation of the identity of our wines.

• The clay acts as a natural water reserve, essential during dry periods, while the limestone provides freshness, finesse, and tension.

• The gravel promotes drainage and contributes to the optimal ripening of the grapes.

• This combination results in balanced wines, with beautiful freshness, controlled structure, and precise aromatic expression.

Our vineyards

Our vines, aged 25 to 30 years, are at the heart of the expression of our wines.

Trained with a single guyot system, they are carefully tended throughout the year to control yields and promote optimal ripening of the grapes.

Throughout the seasons, every step is essential:

winter pruning, soil maintenance, monitoring of vegetation, and control of vine vigor.

This meticulous work allows us to obtain concentrated, balanced grapes perfectly suited to our terroir.

🍷 From vine to wine

Our approach aims to preserve the natural expression of the fruit as much as possible, respecting the balance between the terroir and cellar work.

Mechanical harvesting without thermoflash treatment
Harvested at optimal ripeness, the grapes retain all their freshness and aromatic purity.

Vinification in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks
A controlled fermentation, lasting 12 to 20 days depending on the cuvées, allows precise extraction of color, structure, and aromas.

Aging in stainless steel and concrete tanks
This choice ensures balance, finesse, and freshness in the wines, without masking the expression of the fruit.

Each step is carried out with rigor to reveal harmonious wines true to their terroir.

Each bottle is a true reflection of our terroir and the expertise passed down through several generations.
