🐶 Château Haut Maurin – Reserve of the Hunters Old Vines 2023

From a gravelly clay-limestone soil, this wine is made exclusively from Merlot, coming from vines aged 25 to 30 years.

Grown using single guyot training and cultivated according to the standards of the HVE3 certification, the vineyard follows a sustainable and responsible approach.
The harvest is mechanical and not thermoflashed, in order to preserve the integrity and aromatic purity of the grape.

The winemaking takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats between 25 and 28 °C for 15 to 20 days, followed by aging in stainless steel and concrete vats, ensuring structure, balance, and expression of the fruit.
